Went to the park today

The boys got to ride their Escalade in the parking lot and play on the playground..they had a great time..they went to bed really easy which was nice. It blows my mind how some parents don't bother keeping an eye on their kids though. One father in particular was oblivious to the fact that his young(under 5) daughter was stuck on the ladder going up and then either didn't care or wasn't watching his other daughter climb up the circular slide where other children were trying to come down-several times this occurred and then he finally said something to her. Keep an eye on your kids people-I know it's hard to keep an eye on 2 but this guy wasn't even trying.

Knocked Up

Saw this last night with my mom and the hubby-it was hilarious! I knew it was going to be funny but it exceded my expectations! Some parts were uncomfortable watching with my mom but she loved it too...Go see it!

They make me smile, make me laugh, are best buddies..the older one is always concerned that his little brother gets what he gets. If he's having a smoothie he wants to wait so they can drink it together. So sweet...

The Gas Ran Out

So we had the burgers ready to go, the grill warming up, and I was craving a burger on the grill. The hubby goes out to put the burgers on and it was zip..no more gas :( A burger under the broiler isn't the same.

Smoky Out

The smoke from the south GA fires is causing a hazy smoky day here in Paulding County(Im assuming that is what it is from..it was here the other day too)..You can smell it in the air as well..I went to the grocery store this morning..it was packed. Everyone is shopping for there Memorial Day cook outs and stuff. I made sure to get the two most important things from the store(per my oldest)..Dannon Fruit Smoothies and Sprite. He was a happy guy.

Grey's Anatomy

It just hit me that I have nothing to watch tonight-no Grey's and no Office. I think I will take the opportunity to do some cleaning of the floors.....Is Derick going to end up with Meredith's half sister..I hope not-I dont think he would do that to Meredith but who knows with men :)

Gas Prices

Are absoultely ridiculous-I paid $2.99 yesterday only because I got 10 cents off at Kroger for having spent more than 100 dollars there. The hightest I have seen so far is $3.19 for the 87. I remember when I started driving gas was $1.07. I could fill my car up for under $20.00. I hear that it could go as high as $5.00 this summer-wow-I guess I will be doing some extra walking this summer..haha

Good Thursday Morning

One more day until a three day weekend! The neighborhood pool will open-exciting times here people.

Nap Time

Well the oldest is having his quiet time and the younger one is winding down for his nap. I have some time to do some picking up around the house but really just want to nap myself. I love a good nap that makes you feel refreshed for the afternoon to come. My sister came over today with her 2 boys. 4 boys can certainly be loud..it's fun to watch them interact with each other. Her oldest is 22 months and her youngest is 11 months. Very close together-how she does it I don't know. We played outside-they rode their scooters and bikes and then went out back so they could ride their escalade. They had fun-I hope they become great friends as they grow up together. Alright-I'm off to figure out how to spend my own quiet time. Peace

Good Night

First post will be short because it is time for bed. It's 11:39 and that means it's past my bedtime-oops. Nights are when I enjoy relaxing and spending time with the hubby. My boys are tucked in sleeping peacefully-regrouping their energy for tommorow :) I'm always amazed at how they can go go go when I just wanna slow down just for a minute.....please. Wow-saying that makes me look old-I promise I'm not-
